Description:
|
"The offset "V" directional tread pattern efficiently removes water from the contact patch and prevents hydroplaning. The solid center rib helps maintain the car's directional stability, even on rain grooved highways. With it's high performance and low price, the HTRZ is one of the best values in an ultra high performance tire." - TireRack website

Pros:

Inexpensive! Superb value!
|
|
Cons:
|
Frequently out of stock or on backorder

This is a superb tire! Fantastic in the rain, and excellent cornering and straight-line acceleration... and quiet!
I can't believe they are so cheap. One thing is that they are a little narrower than the GSC's....

This is the third set of tires I have had on the car and are by far the best of the lot for traction.

Great tires for the price. Especially considering that there not much to choose from in the 315 size

Running michlen pilots sports, rears are 285/30R20 on 11'' wheels. Fronts are 255/35R19 - 9.5'' wheels. Changing to 2006/Z06 rears fenders on my 2005/c6 and I think that 315x20 will work, I'm told that 325x20 on a 11'' wheel will fit but will cause the tire to crown and lose some traction and handling issues.Digital Corvettes rocks giving a guy info that most brand name tire shops won't give out because they want sell you a whole new package bastards. I took delivery of my car Dec 14th 2005 with after market replica wheels in chrome modelled after last generation Z06 wheels its a beautiful thing. These tires you all are bosting about sound great, Id like to know more about pricing and who sells them.
