still back then that was the 2 best performance car the general had my personal opinion the trans ams were always a bit faster than the camaros especialy the ws6 and gtas 0f the 90s but never faster than the vette in factory form one of the best transams ive ever owned was a 79 with a 455 superduty big block and my friend had a 79 vette he said he was so surprised how well my transam handeld that back then he said that you have the 4 seater version of my 79 vette they wear identical in slalom tests and handiling but the 79 corvettes back then were nothing to write home about they used to call them the barbie doll vettes 150 hp and more women bought those cars back then from what i read in corvette books they said 60 percent of women bought the 7 9 vettes i wish they bought back the t/a's just like the camaros and not charge so much for them i think that this was there demise in the first place young guys that were born in the 70s could afford 6 year old car in decent condition but when the 90 2000 models came in to play most people who owned them were in there late 40s and 50s they were just to expensive for the average 25 year old does any body out there agree with me give me a shout

really nice car is that automatic with line locs or is it a 4 speed if im correct you cant have them on a manual trans right?

still the best street race ever to be honest it wasnt even a street race i just find it so amusing that these kids are going to take a rice rocket juiced up against a vette thats all juiced up and think it will win its like bringing a toothpick to a knife fight that vette toyed with him all the way
