Front end lift

I've been noticing in the N-ring pics as well as the video of the yellow ZR1 slamming around the track that the front end of the ZR1 seems to really lift up a lot when the power is put to the ground.

This could cause some handling issues. :lookinup:

Well, maybe it only does that on while in the lower gears...

Do you have a link to the video you are referring to???

i think thats what they wanted to transfer the weight to the back for better traction

This is the suspension system sending more weight to the rear tires under hard acceleration, the wheels are not turning so it doesn't need to stiffen up.

lift on the front = less downforce on front wheels = understeer around corners

understeer= bad

every magazine review ive read says that the zr1 has a lot cushier ride than lets say the C6 Zo6's dont get me wrong they still loved it but it wasnt quite the track setup:down: this is also the magazine that called the zo6 fun on a track but hardly "bearable" on the street....wut a bunch of wusses... the pictures might be attributed to that or possibly the meteorological rear suspension setup :thumbsup:

If the system allows as much front end lift during corning which Im sure that it will tighten up the front suspension once the yaw sensors picks up some lateral movement along with steering input.

We have seen videos of how this car runs on the track and if it can really run the ring in the 7 minute and 20 seconds range that has been claimed then we know that it probably doesn't understeer.
