Well, two vettes drove through the parking lot but didn't stop. I met a really nice woman. I told a woosie boy in a 6.3 AMG he had a real nice girl's car but he didn't bite.

I am in the hospital with pneumonia and blood clots in the lungs.
I am doing OK now, but will probably be here a day or two more. I am finally feeling well enough to get on the 'puter to let all of you know. I worked on the Vette last Weekend, re-primered the nose (fixed the crack one of the girls make) and the hood, and tightened up the tranny pan as it was leaking some. Monday, I was feeling like crap. My left knee had been hurting like a bitch and I was feeling like I had the flu.. Turns out I was in worse shape! My left knee was where the clot started, but I managed to bust it up not babying it, and the clots moved to my lungs. So now I am here pumped up with a couple dozen anti biotics, blood thinners, and other stuff! Great way to spend Labor Day Weekend!!! I am hoping to get out of here within a day or two.

It's still difficult to talk too much, and today I am able to get out of bed (I can use the bathroom like a BIG boy again!!!)

I will let all of you know when I can come out and play.. and we'll have a special GTG to Post-Celebrate my Birthday and Celebrate my recovery!

Oh, man! Sorry to hear all of this. I was wondering what happened to you. Sounds like you were lucky and caught it in time. Blood clots can travel to the brain, or heart, resulting in stroke, or WORSE. I nearly died in 1991 with a type of pneumonia that required an operation! NO FUN!! Hope you are doing o.k., now. Let us know. See you, soon.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to drive my Vette. My brakes gave out (Rt. Front Caliper is leaking badly. I rebuilt it this weekend, and it is still leaking). I will have to wait until I get my Bonus next year and replace all 4 calipers.

So.. I'll be the guy in the Red Xterra! (hey.. at least it's red!).
