[Video] Playing with small cars at SOW

On 7/5/08 I ran with SpeedTrialUSA at the Streets of Willow Springs, full course, CCW. Tight 1.56 mile road course favors handling over power.
1:34.6 was my best lap time. I saw 103 degrees on my climate control display! Video is from the last session where they combined run groups and a race prepared Miata came out and started passing people in corners. So I hounded him a little after he passed me in a corner.

I often follow Spec Miata or S2000 Club Racers. I feel a level of accomplishment if I can keep up with the better drivers through the twisties.

Great video Roy. Your very smooth. Those Spec Miatas are fast. There was a husband and wife who had one at the track. They were bragging on how cheap the up keep was. Seventy five dollar rotors and 100 dollar tires. They placed 17th out of 40 in their last race. You don't have to have the baddest car to have a great time on the track. Those Spec Miata drivers can drive too.:thumbsup:


That track looks very fun and forgiving. No trees anywhere. I need to get down there real soon.
