Anyone know any good places around this area. I'm in downtown Los Angeles, Ca, and work in Orange County. I know WCC is 15 min from here. Any other reputable shops in the area where I can get the job done??
Any info would be really appreciated.

JumpRun 08-12-2005, 03:47 PM Just from my own personal experience and a variety of things I've read here, I would consider going to A&A in Oxnard, it's a ways from us but I think thats where I'd go considering what your looking for.
WCC is worth looking into they always seem to have tons of cars in their shop, then there is Coast Corvettes , just off the 5 near disneyland

Honez 08-13-2005, 11:00 AM I have done a lot of work similar to yours, There are two places worth going to. My first choice would be A&A. They can do the full install and tune in one trip. Second choice is Don Lees's in Rancho Cucumonga. It's a dirive but they are reasonable and good for bolt on's. You will still need a tune and again the only place I would go is A&A's. Charlie will tune the car like he owns it. You don't get that anywhere else. I would drop the car off at A&A's and then take the train home. Then take the train back when it's ready.

You sir are indeed a lucky man because I can tell you many ARE NOT HAPPY with either Al or the LAPD. Yes, I have names of vendors and customers alike that factually backup this statement. No libel or slander….. just facts.

I have had nothing but good dealings with LAPD and have seen what they can do. They have been very nice to me when other shops have screwed me over. For their great efforts, I commend LAPD and for all their good work is why I am loyal to them and why it disgusts me to see someone crazy like Charlie try and ruin it for them.

I can clearly Remember the MMS days with the famous know it all, MorganFilter. My car was ruined. I am not trying to make any comparisons here, as far as I ever knew LAPD hasbeen doing a good job, but I admit, I have not been active here is a while. and also I do not know any of the facts about this, I suggest that you people can just work it out, in a profesional manner.
