One of 3 options here:

1. They contact us, basically confirming what we are seeing is some flavor of real.
2. They don't contact us and we brush it off as a hoax.

This is true...so what do you do? I'll take it with a grain of salt.

If this is true then why an M in the middle of 2007 for the LS7? M is located at the start of the LS9 and LS8 so does the LS7 get updated?

Good guess. What is interesting is that the Z06 will have a 6 year production run and lots of availability. Not just two years as suggested by many internet posts. Getting the story out that the Z06 will only have a two year run is a good marketing ploy though.

This is my take:

This is the proposed schedule in the search for a "Cooperative [outsource] Supplier" for the Supercharger.

Look at the timeline: [My Decoding]

Next steps for production sourcing:

1) starting DEcember 1 05' - a 16 wk sourcing period (Therefore, I believe this document was just leaked from a prospective supplier)

2) Source [will be] Selected - APril 1 06'

3) 20 week tooling

4) Gamma MRD AUGust 26, 2006 - Motor R&D? Manufacturing R&D?

Notice they use a lower case "m", and an upper case "M" in the time line.

What does "M" stand for??? ...Motor? ...Model?...More power?... Manufacturing???

It would make sense that it's the start of manufacturing, because the "m" is in 2007, and it shows the LS9 Corvette Super Sport starting 3/08!!!

Also, it shows the LS8 w/ auto and manual - 480ish HP - so, it seems that is the C6!!!

Are these annual figures, or total run - I think these must be yearly figures!

So, I conclude that starting in March 2008 there will be an intercooled Super Charged Vette Super Sport w/ 600+ HP !!!

What does the 1st document say about other models and engines?

I'm dying to know what improvements are coming for the coupe and when they will be released.
(LS3, transmissions, etc)

If you take the time to look at the data that isn't blacked out, I think it's a real document.

I'll add my two-cents...A supplier fires an office employee. Employee is hurt and angry. To get even, the person fired copies this, blacks out certain parts, and post it here. Hmmm, but only here, and a member of DC?

I read his previous posts and it doesn't look like he is a supplier, seems like he has a job that has to do with racing?

He hasn't said much about what we are seeing. I read his previous posts, and it seems this has been going on for a few weeks.

Maybe he doesn't even know what this is.
