hey rtgordon!
thanks for the advice. i actually drove my z on a pair of race ramps and checked under to see where the oil leak was coming from. it was coming from the oil drain plug. about 2 months ago i did change the oil and torqued the plug to factory specs, 18lbs. during the two months there were no leaks at all. but just last week i saw a few drops. kinda of odd. since last week it stop leaking. i havent touch the plug. i dont drive the car really, its been stored in the garage. is it possible that probably the rubber gasket on the oil drain plug needed time to seal up to the pan? can heat be a factor for the gasket to expand and fuse to the oil pan. the last oil change was actually my cars first oil change, so i know the plug or gasket in still fairly new. ive been checking every day for about a week now and there has been no oil leaking. again thanks for your advice.
