I am pretty excited , I bought a 98 camaro, ls1 6 speed. I plan on transferring most of all of the car into my 75. Electrical, comfort controls, fuses, steering column, engine, trans, brakes....

It feels like I might be biting off more than I can chew, but wow am I excited. I don't have much to do for the next 2 years anyhoo.

Welcome to the madness! When you have questions.. and you will.. make sure to ask here. Somebody has already been there and can help you out.
There are several build threads here that will help you out and give you an idea of what you are in for. If you have not read them, it might be a good idea.

CLEMSONTIGER spent a lot of time documenting the parts (and cost) of everything he used to pull off his conversion. It is a great resource. http://www.digitalcorvettes.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1979568#post1979568

Good luck with the swap. Please keep us up to date and post progress on this thread. I love watching these projects come together.

Yes it will feel as if you are, or have bit off more than you can handle, but take it one section at a time and and stay focused on each system seprately, and the project will run smoothly.

Any thoughts about installing a turbo or two on that ls6? That would be a nice addition to that setup.

Can't wait to see your progress.

Oh I just read the other thread, that sucks that the car was sold out from under you. There are a lot of great deals out there, just keep looking and don't be afraid to travel a distance to buy.

Don't pass by the 6.0 or bigger Iron block motors, there are some great deals out there on these and they can make the same or better power as an LS aluminum motor.
