Take a shot in the dark and say that he has a Vette of his own, that isn't stock.
Also, would he by any chance be transporting the DCZ to it's destination for repairs? I was thinking about the car today and wondered what the progress was. Since it is now after the first of the year.
Seems like a nice rig to move things in an enclosed manner.

Their headquarters is about 30 minutes from my house.
But, no, the battered DC-Z is currently still in the garage... for just a little bit longer.

First Run From DC
I just got back from my first run that was generated from DC. And I have to say it was not only a long trip but it was a car that had to take my breath away. Being that I am a early corvette fan more then a new one. This was the car that would and will get more attention then it will know. And it started with me. First of all its a 1968 427/435 car. Its a conv, with only 6101 miles on it. The trim rings were never put on it. It has it all. Off road exhaust, hard top/soft top,But a total unrestored car. It look like it came out of the show room in 1968. This car is perfect. And best of all, it came from the first owner. 41 years with the same man. This car will be in the special collection at Bloomington Gold this summer. This is said to be the lowest milage 1968 known. It also had with it. The owners payment book with payments of 62.00 a month back then. I have never seen a unrestored car that has looked this good before. In fact I haven't seen restored cars that look this good. For reasons of Privacy I can't tell who and where it is. Or to many details. But if your are going to Bloomington Gold this year. Don't miss this car. You would be missing a true part of history. By the way this is the last year for the Special Collection. That is a sad thing also. I love seening the cars in there.

COOL! I'll be sure to check it out, sounds like a gem! What was the color combo? Why was it never driven?

That's neat to see an original car like that but it's a bummer that it never got enjoyed.

The man drove it. The funny thing is he has other Corvettes and that was the one with the most miles on it. And the others are just as nice. But the 68 was the oldest.

What a great feeling when you don't have to worry about your Vette in someone else's care.

My uncle has very high expectations when it comes to car transport and the only person he has done business with in the past 5 years has been John, nothing but kind words to say
