A great run with a C5

Last night we all met up at are normal spot, and there was a yellow c5 there. The guy was young like me (24/25) and had an intake, headers, catback, tune, and lightened the car. We ran and the first run my transmission wouldn't let me in 4th (blah, need that looked at), second run he was at my back bumper. We ran 30-140 with wheel hop in 2nd

I am very impressed with how his car ran

Now it's time to stop screwing around and get some modding done to my intake only z06

Headers and I already have a G5X3 cam from LG waiting to go in when $$$ allows

Go C5 vs C5Z! His mods vs your stock should certainly take you for a "run", if he has a good tune I'd go so far as to say you'd be neck-in-neck. His rwhp should be near yours if not slightly more if his tune is good..... I know because I'm nearly there myself with my C5 and should be there after my next mod.
(basically taking your 400 stock HP at the crank compared to if he's 350 at the wheels....)

I put down 374 with an intake and tune so he had his work cut out for him. He had a powerful C5, I under estimated you base C5 guys
