They are working hard to show that Corvette owners are not afraid of a wrench! This is the first time CE has had anything but a Corvette on the cover and so far is getting very good reviews.
BTW, that is MY motor on the cover!
This is the third article in a series written by Jim Moore, better known as 427HotRod on the CF or "The Great Temptor" among his friends. If you are EVER interested in building a big block motor, you want to read these articles. The January issue addresses all the swaps in cams, intakes, carburetors and even oil that we did on a conservative engine dyno here in Houston. Worth a read.
Also article in there about Stan Chorianopoulos and his retro C3race car. Stan is the very best in body work...is working on my car as well.
If you want a copy of the magazine or even the series, call this number: 1 800 448-3611
Enjoy!

Thanks Patrick.
If you go on YouTube and type in Snowman and 555, you can see engine dyno video, video from our first time at the track including in car video. Did a 10.946 and 129mpg as best ET and trap speed our first time out. Car had been driven about 3 miles when we took it to the track.
Never a dull moment! We are having a good time and I am learning a helluva lot!

Awesome video. I gotta ask, were you driving or was that Jim. I know when Jim drives his down the track, it sounds like he does not lift. It sounds like that video, there was not much lifting when shifting. Look close at the fence on the right and I should be there rooting for the C3's that day. Hope to see you guys back up there again in May!!

Snowman's "Bruiser" is almost finished. It will be at the Houston Corvette Expo later this month. I wll be there along with most everyone else involved in the building of the car to answer any questions.
