You should see some of his other work. It's scary how these artists can do this. He had this one piece that was like 4 different layers over each other and it was the most awesome piece of art that I have ever seen. That took him about 3 days. Mine took him about 3 hours. He feels the same way about how I add LED's to the Climate Controls and other interior pieces so I guess that makes me somewhat of a cousin to an artist!!
Yours has the same problem that mine has....the stupid light is in the artwork. I'm thinking about disconnecting the light and adding a strip of LED lights and an internal (in the car) switch to light the artwork up. I was thinking about installing the strip facing the artwork from the underside of the weatherstrip near the firewall so it wont be seen unless the lights are turned on.
