Wasnt there a luxury car manufacturer that had a valet key, which restricted power, making the car useless above 15 MPH. If I imagined it, then that would be a cool idea, especially on cars like the vette.

Wouldn't be hard to do something like an rpm cap of say 1000 rpm, I would think it would be pretty easy to design- kind of like the MSD soft touch revl imiter

Ala the 90's ZR-1. It's valet key cut power way down ,just in case of valet like this!

i wonder why they would kill that idea, it seems logical. If they didnt want to carry a second key around, then replace it by inputting a code on the NAV screen to reduce power.
