Again, great work--you really have an awesome ride for a relatively low price tag--I hope that mine comes out as well.

Sorry for the delayed response. I honestly can't find where I got those at. I thought I had the link saved on my work computer, but it doesn't seem like I do. I can tell you this...they are no longer making them (not sure if it was an issue with GM telling them not to, or what) and the ones I bought were actually a used set that I had to paint...but they did still have some "used" sets at the time of my purchase some 6 months ago. I did have to trim them just a bit to fit around the throttle bracket, and I think they ran me about $125. I'll keep looking and see what I can find. Sorry.

Why couldn't you have made this thread 8 months ago? lol.

I struggled through mine and just recently fired it up for the first time. I then saw your post and instantly stole your intake setup since that was all I needed to be able to drive mine around the block before it snows.

I LOVE how you include part numbers as that helps people like me and others track stuff down so much easier...thanks.
Just putting this out there, I didn't really do mine on a budget but I took very diligent notes on the stuff I buy so if anyone needs something they can't find off your list you're free to ask and I'll see if I have it on mine.

Awesome...great addition to this thread!

Also, I did find the supplier for my coil covers. Check out:

I was looking at another LS swap thread and I thought about something I did during my swap that I may not have documented and wanted to go back and make a note of on this thread as well as my other LS thread for the benefit of someone who may read it later while doing their swap.

I used the original 1972 radiator for my swap...but I had it modified just a bit. I took it to the radiator shop to have it rotted out and while it was there I had them turn the upper hose outlet down. Basically, I wanted my upper hose to run parallel with the top of the radiator so I could use the cold air intake as I did. Just fyi for those of you still working through LS swaps.

If my engine goes on me I will probably go with an LSx. I already have the fuel system there since I originally was going to go with TPI (just swap out the regulator and a couple adapters), Dewitts rad./ fan combo, LT1 T56 with hydraulic clutch though I would have to do a few changes to match it up, or sell it and get an LS T56.

Nice write up!
