Not sure, but what you think is a black car near the back of the pack might be pennant blue.

So, possibly, two blue one's are missing.

Well, if they were '53s they'd all be white.

If they were '55s they would have shown off copper and green as well.

The only time that red, white, blue & black represented that style Corvette was '54.

I think it was a GM promotional shot. I remember seeing this photo in one of my dad's corvette book when i was a kid. there was a photo in a nearby page of a factory worker holding the fiberglass tub/frame up in the air with one hand.
