Well we were very very lucky here, minimal damage and somehow we even kept our power through some of the worst winds we've ever experienced! Many many surrounding areas without power and our CT coast devastated.
Life is slowly returning to normal.
Here's what the foliage looked like a week ago. Now the leaves have been all blown off the trees!

Glad to hear all is as well as can be expected for you both. Truly very sad images all over the news here in Colorado.
