I would like some tips on installing the A seal on my 87 like just use a bead of glue or brush it all over,where to start middle or at the ends,everybody gives me a different answer,confused.

Use 3M Super Black weatherstrip Adhesive.
Should find it at your local Napa, Carquest, Oreilley's, Autozone & local Auto body paint store.
About $7 to $11 to buy a large tube of it.
Aluminum toothpaste style squeeze tube.
A - pillar, I think you meant the upper front weatherstrip seal where the door glass seals against with window fully up.
