I am in need of a car cover

Now that winter is here and the car wont be driven till spring I was wanting to get a car cover to protect and help keep the car clean. I have never had one before. My car is kept in an unheated concrete floor garage that I also use for wood working and other projects. I have seen the price ranging from $40 to $70 for the less expensive ones. Are these good enought? I don't want to go so cheap that the cover isn't good for the car.

Your answer can be found within the attachment of this thread. That chart breaks every cover that they sell down to specifically what it will be used for and the environment of your car. Price means nothing when looking for a cover. The environment is EVERYTHING.

Maybe for his 1973 Vega, definitely not his Corvette.

Come on now, really? You know that won't work at all. It's only 16' long. It should be at least 20' long so the "S" hooks can clip on the lip of the front and rear bumpers

Thanks Junkman. I read your suggested thread entirely. Wow a lot to think about. Now I don't feel so silly asking.

That chart is going to help you make a more informed decision. There's a lot more to car covers than just buying a expensive one. Sometimes the expensive one is exactly what you don't need.
