Why are we discussing the Camaro on a Corvette forum?

Did you guys ever see the real C7 rear bumper emblem way back in April? GM has you fooled with their "other" version.

RIGHT, GM did not "release" this, it was leaked - along with a LOT of other information and several other GM CAD drawings.
This may be the new rear, but I don't think so. From the photos of the test cars there are subtle but definite differences from these drawings. It will be close but the details can make all the difference.

The C7 may have square or rectangular tail lights, and we will see. I actually think it will be a half circle, but I'm still hoping for round.

Also CAD!! Computer Aided Design.. Does not mean it was made from any production specs. They routinely do CAD drawings for vehicles that never even make it to modeling phase let alone to production. When I worked in Detroit and did computer work at Chrysler HQ there were often CAD drawings around of vehicles that never came to be.

The same time they released the CAD of the rear, they released a CAD of the side with the stingray emblem. You really think the new C7 will be called a stingray and have that emblem.

Dude. You are in a serious state of denial. I can't blame you at all for not wanting to believe that Welburn and Peters have done this to the C7 ... and that Tadge approved it ... but you really need to look at all the evidence with open eyes and accept the truth. If you don't, you are in for a bad fall into reality on 1/13/13.

Good luck.

Better yet why the heck would I even buy a C7 only to fix something that GM should have got right from the start....C7 no thanks...I'll spend my $$ else where this time. They can keep the C7 for what ever sect GM is trying to entice with this design.

I was around the industry for 12 years, and I have looked at it all carefully.. And I really don't think that pic is what it will look like. But it could, GM has done dumber things.

As far as taking a fall, pssst, I wasn't planing on buying a C7 anyway and if it looks like that it will keep my C6 from losing its value as fast. Win, Win in my book.
