diagnosis help please.

So I was just going through the gears on a local highway and when I shifted into third it got completely stuck. No PowerShifting was done.

I had to pull over to the side and turn off the car. After some light tugs and everything it finally came out of third. I left it for a little to cool and then started jt back up. It now goes into third fine.

Any ideas on what could have happened?

Thanks.

I had my 01 coup do that on the strip a few times, installed an after market short shifter and never had the trouble again.

What about your clutch fluid. Have you ever changed it or changed it recently?
