Back in "The Day" I thought that was the coolest car on the planet. I'd just been in the Marines about a year. George Barris and the Lincoln Futura.........good teamwork. I'd change the cell phone service to digital in a minute.

Still cool...
What's amazing is how cool and mean looking this car still is. Puts the movie batmobiles to shame. In the intervening year, Barris has goofed it up with stupid labels and such, but those can come off. Presume it still has its original 500ci Lincoln racing engine in it...
