Wow!!! I've had this monster for over 6 years now. I have almost 77K miles on it. The best thing too is, it's almost paid off. I've come close to trading it in on a CTS-V Coupe. I'm so close to paying it off that if I wait another 10 months. I could have both. Great daily driver all the way around. I've had it for so long that I forget on how special of a car it is. I was playing around with it today in the rain. It's fun to spin the tires in 3rd gear. My heel toe down shift are flawless in the Z.

I have now had my 2007 Z06 for six years and one month. I had it put away Thanksgiving weekend, but the weather was so nice I decided to drive it to a board meeting at the National Corvette Museum this past week. Returned home and I now have 41,333 miles on it.

Late Model 2007 Z06 --- 25,000 miles --- no major issues

My late model year 2007 Z06 - Yellow with Ebony Interior - has performed flawlessly for 25,000 miles --- including multiple 1200-mile trips on Corvette events.

Only issue has been one bad battery, which was replaced under warranty. I am on my second set of rear tires and one set of front tires.

On a recent 1400 mile trip, I checked the oil twice --- I did not have to add a single drop! While NOT a major personal concern, highway gas mileage -- maintaining 60-80 MPH -- was 20 - 24 per gallon. Mostly in 5th gear, I am not a fan of 6th gear.

My Z06 runs smoother now, than when it was new. My GMMPP will cover me unit 2015; if I am not wowed by the C7, I will get the warranty extended for 3 more years. I am a very happy C6 Z06 owner.

Have a 2007 Z which I purchased new 7/7/07. Have 38K miles right now. On long trips I have averaged as high as 28 mpg but usually get a high of 26 mpg. I generally do not drive it in the winter and presently have a 2012 CTS V as my daily driver. The best mileage I get with the "V" is about 19-20 mpg. It has the spirit of the "Z" but not quite the gas mileage.
