New C6 Head Unit

Hey all,

New to this site. Wanting to upgrade my stereo on my C6 Vert. A couple of quesitons.

1. Some folks say you don't need a new head unit to improve your stereo but need to replace the speakers and add a sub with amp. Is that true?

2. If I do need to replace the head unit, should I go with the Pioneer or Kenwood? Sounds like there's plenty of ammo on both sides but the Pioneer is much cheaper.

A new unit will definitely make a big difference. I would start there. As for amps and speakers, that just depends on how much sound you want. I'd definitely upgrade the unit and speakers though.
