I was trying to get some opinions on which sound deadening material is best for your car. Thanks.

Depends on what you want to do. Is it high frequency noises like highway tire and road sound or low frequency buzz rattles and vibrations? Each has their own solution.

Good piont, it would be tire and road sound.

High frequency noises like that are best stopped with a soft cloth like material similar to the factory jute padding. Of course in the aftermarket there are way better performing materials and I am currently looking for the same thing for my car. A interior thread on here showed some nice looking stuff from Autozone but the employees kept looking at me like I was crazy when asking about it.
