I've wanted one of these since I was about 12.
My wife was ok with it until I told her I wanted to put it in the front window.

The next thing you know, you will be wanting to find out what happens if you put your tongue on a steel pole in 10 degree weather.

When I bought my first house about eight years ago I had my lamp right in the middle of the picture window. It was just off the highway so I would actually have people stopping out front to see what it was. It was comical because its a small town and everyone was talking about it. Now they are on every corner so its not very "Major" anymore.
