Merry Christmas from Obama

A newly written reg in the Obamacare saga just added $25B to the cost of Obamacare. It's a $63 charge for every man, woman and child covered by insurance that will be passed on to you and me. The purpose? To jumpstart a pool of money to cover the uninsured. I'm still waiting for the part where Obamacare saves us money. Obama promised it, so it must be true. Merry Christmas, America!

Looks like Obamacare has found another way to wring another $30B out of us via a new 2.3% tax on medical devices. Do you see a pattern here? Get ready for libs to get ever more creative in finding ways to silently confiscate your money in the name of healthcare for all.

Democratic lawmakers have joined with Republicans in raising alarm about a looming ObamaCare-tied tax on medical devices, saying the additional tax is causing "uncertainty and confusion for businesses" and should be delayed.
The previously obscure tax has, over the last several months, emerged as one of the most controversial in the health care overhaul and one of the few with bipartisan opposition. Starting Jan. 1, the Affordable Care Act imposes a 2.3 percent tax on medical devices with the goal of raising nearly $30 billion over the next decade.
