VICTORY for the good people of Illinois!

FINALLY, the good people of Illinois might be on their way to extracting at least a little bit of themselves out from under the communist rule of the liberal progressives in the Illinois legislature!!

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2012...ealed-weapons/

I know a LOT of my Illinois friends are thinking Christmas just came a bit early this year!

Too bad with obama's re-election he is going to be able to fill 3 SCOTUS seats, putting a 7-2 anti-2A majority in the SCOTUS for probably 30 years. The 2A is a gonner....

To bad people done think about these things before they vote, or stay home on their lazy asses for that matter. There was a lot more at stake in the 2012 election than the economy or who the lamest candidate was.

I heard earlier today.

Maybe.

Don't forget about the UN Gun Ban Treaty.
Obama heads the effort coming from the USA.
With his signature, victory will be short lived.

Not holding my breath.
Every Illinois Governor since 1976 has been involved in some scandal &/ or sitting in jail making Illinois license plates.

Chicago politicians & Bama.....His healthcare passed with ease.

No one with a working brain every paid attention to that IL concealed gun ban anyhow. Especially if you live in Chicago or one of the nearby burbs.

All true, everyone, but let's at least relish in the victory for a little bit.

I'm not so naive as to think the war is over, by far. I know we gun owners have quite the battle ahead of us over these next four years. I have many UK friends and we talk quite a bit about gun laws both here and across the pond. Believe it or not, recreational shooting is alive and well in the UK... it's very interesting to see what's allowed and what's not. The reason I keep up on UK gun laws is that we're headed for that scenario ourselves. Handguns are outlawed, of course, but rifles in just about any caliber can be had as long as they are bolt-action only. In fact, they have AR's, which surprised me... they are just modified to only shoot as a bolt-action. No gas hole in the barrel, special bolt carrier, special upper, etc.

So, that's where we're really headed in the US... so buckle up, boys and girls, it's gonna be a rough ride!

Pray every day for good health of the five conservative justices for the next four years. And then pray for a Republican president in 2016.

The media has already annointed Hillary. We'll have to wait until 2020.

No sobbing here. Just pointing out your lack of cognizance.

Those opportunities to obtain greatness are being limited and reduced almost daily by the politicians that you support, all around you partner. My life is good. My concern is for my children and their children and the shit hole of a country that your politicians want us to become. Just pointing out what you don't seem to recognize.
