Our debt has gone up over 50% in the last four years. We see no slowdown in the future. We are not in the same economic circumstances as we were during the Bush years. Cheney was actually right. This country can easily handle a $9T debt. It cannot handle a $25T debt, which is where we are headed. Please quit looking back and try looking forward for a change.
Tex The reason we are where we are is because of what happened in the past. Bush had a strong economy with almost full employment and simply kept adding to the debt. Obama inherited that debt and the economic crash added to the debt to the point that we are at now. I have asked this before and you didn't answer....so give us the answer...Where did Obama spend???? He is not king and cannot cut spending or increase spending without the approval of congress. So where is the new spending???????????
