I hope all you people who are always complaining about the Corvette's interior are happy with whatever they come up with.

Thanks for posting this. Not very revealing, but I suppose that is the point, yes?
Anyone understand what the carbon fiber thing at the start of the video might be?

you're welcome
i think that carbon fiber will be used in the cockpit. even the seats maybe... (?)
actually if you look at the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento concept you may notice that the entire car is made of carbon fiber. even the interior. if Corvette does that...

And there goes the best bang for the buck. Some people don't realize what they are getting for the money they are spending. If you want all the amenities that the exotics have, buy an exotic.

it WILL BE an exotic.
ok, so if it is in par with exotic quality and exotic performance...it is an exotic, right?

It won't be...
But then I don't need all that in my Corvette.

You might think I'm crazy AJ, but if I had to choose either my Corvette or Viper, then the Viper would have to go. My friends think I'm nuts but I like the Corvette better.

Are you talking interiors alone?

I just really love the C5! The Viper rides like a old truck above 120mph. In a race the Viper would win hands down and draws looks like crazy but I feel connected to the Corvette. You just want to go for a long drive in it. One hour in the Viper and I want out!

Oh, I would agree with you there. The interior is what I'm talking about. I would love to have that interior but if I had a choice between that interior and about a $20,000 savings, give me the savings.

Doubt it.
The car mags wouldn't be happy with the Vette interior if the dashboard-firewall-windscreen frame were milled from a single billet of aluminum, every tactile surface were covered in Corinthian leather hand sewn by blind monks in Belgium, and ever switch were molded from carbon fiber.
However they will drool over a Porsche steering wheel covered in micro-suede sourced from Wal-mart.
