There was early speculation the hood vent was for the high end model (e.g. ZR1). Maybe not?

I say not. When I spoke with Doug Fehan a couple weeks ago, he confirmed that there will only be 1 model for at least the first year of production.
Service manuals won't be out for a Hi-po model now, if it wasn't coming out, so it must be the base model.

I thought this may be the case after seeing the CAD images of the engine compartments a few months ago. Both engine compartments showed a duct in front of the engine that turned up towards the underside of the hood.
