The black and white is clearly messing with people. The base model has the middle 1/3 spoiler and the high performance model has a full width spoiler. Look closely.

This is really it... I mean. That's it...

Letdown. Not as shapely as hoped. Rear end with those flat-out embarrassing gangsta teardrops. Overall = dull as toast. No different than the C4, C5. Sure ain't no Sting Ray...

Please Help

I know Dave Mclellan and Dave Hill are in Corvettes history books forever but damn I wish they could've came out of retirement to help Tadge Juechter when he would take a hit of weed on his lunch breaks. What were his design crew thinking to use Camaro cues for a car that's supposed to stand alone??. Those rear tail lamps would've fit perfect for a 2014 Camaro update. I've expressed countless times here and Corvette Facebook pages my hatred for the 3rd window. When I was born God made me a Corvette coupe fan. I think if a 2014 Vette ever had to get my money...a drop top would look closest to what we once had. Sorry to say...but they seem to have traded the looks for interior refinement. I thought the goal is to hit both?

Let's just assume GM looks for a while at some of these post's for the past year on various websites such as this to get a feel as to what we would like to see on the next iteration of the vette . Lets not jump to conclusions before it is actually displayed on 01/13/13 I am more than sure it will be a good looking car albeit with the odd camaro like tail lights , really hope they are not like that !

IMHO, I feel that GM probably assumes that only 10% of Corvette owners actually frequent a Corvette forum and thus our opinions are just a small percentage of all Corvette enthusiast. Thus, our disdain for anything Corvette can be wrote off to an 'acceptable risk'.

I know you're joking, but I don't understand why some people refuse to accept that there are people who genuinely like the design. If I tell you rocky road is my favorite flavor of ice cream, are you going to give me all the reasons why I'm wrong? I mean... if I like it, then I like it.

Don't get me wrong, I honestly believe that you do like it. The only thing that I am saying is that ass end is 'Camaroesque' and there's no denying it. So like it or not, get ready to hear this conversation if you buy one:

Admirer: "So that's the new Corvette, eh?"
You: "Sure is! It's the 2013 model. First year design!
Admirer: (as she approaches the back of the car...) "It looks like a Camaro from the back!"
You: Bitch, get away from my car!

This are not sketches this are 3D CAD drawings GM used this Drawings to CNC Mill so whatever you see on this drawings that is the real deal every single detail you see here you will see on the actual car so this is it.

Not true, I already asked, now a road trip to Kentucky is probably stretching that liberty
