I always ask to be scanned. Since I have a totally metal hip, it's the fastest, easiest way for me to get through security.
I couldn't care less about what anyone else thinks of my image during a scan.
Meanwhile, I think our airport security in the U.S. is ridiculous, and when tested, many gaps are often found.

We have a nation full of college grads that cannot find work. Put them in the military for a two year hitch, train them, put them in the airports and dump the high school drop outs that currently man these positions. The TSA is a joke, an embarassment and a disgrace. But, they are a good example of how the guberment runs things!

Too bad they have degrees like political science, multicultural studies, humanism, ect....could be 1 reason they are unemployed....
