The problem Tex, is that he was heard repeating it to Ried after Reid said "what", and then Boehner bragged about saying it to his collegues. I think it's pretty sad to think that telling someone to fuck himself is viewed as a gotcha or a good move. As I said before it just makes him look like a loser.

I think the line, "Go Fuck Yourself" is quite possibly the absolute best line in the English language. Three simple words lets the deliverer show the deliveree exactly how he or she feels without mincing words. There's no mystery left at the end of your conversation.....

Your absolutly correct....when you tell someone to go fuck themselves, there is no mystery at the end of the conversation as to who won the debate....undoubtedly the one who was told to go fuck himself, because the speaker of the line obviously has nothing more inteligent to say.

What debate? There was no debate, they made eye contact and Boehner said Go Fuck Yourself.... not much of a debate there if you ask me.

It has to do with class and statesmanship. If you reach a level that you represent the people in a position that he does. I would want him to represent me with some class and dignity.

I choos the high road, the road least traveled, and the hard right decision over the easy wrong quick fix.

If we allow our leaders to act like thugs in a brawl, we are asking too little of them.

Absolutely! I think the right should adopt that phrase much like the left has adopted 'racist' as it's mantra. That way whenever a lefty calls a righty a 'racist', the righty could answer "go fuck yourself" and the debate would once again be at a point of stasis.
