Bostitch 2000P
Just replaced a smaller version of this. Works very well.
1.5 HP
0 - 150 PSI
6 gallon tank
Weighs 37lb (pancake type so it fits easily in the back of the car, if needed.)
Well made

I went to Harbor Freight and got one of theirs. It's not good for construction or commercial work, but it works just fine for what I do which includes riveting, tires, blowing excess water out of the Harley when I wash it, and general tinker around the garage stuff. I think it has a 3 gallon tank and the last time I looked the price was under a hundred bucks. it's also good for blowing water out of the side mirrors and the tail lights when you wash the Vette. Don't get too close to the tail lights so that you don't accidently blow out a gasket.

Man, the collective wisdom and experience between Grumpy and Ivan is AMAZING!!!!!! Throw Junkman in there to do a write up and do a good detail at the end and you will have a mighty fine ride. I'm just here for comic relief.

Finally had time to put the compressor in the way I wanted. I put a switch in to turn it off an on from and a plug down under the bench where I want to run the compressor from. Now I only have to run the schedule 40 pvc to the front under the work benches and then the 50ft reel.
I also plan to put a 10gal portable tank in the system that is quick dosconect and that will make the total system capacity 20gal. Right now its just 10 gal.

Well today I got to do some more work on the air compressor intstall.
This is the pipe I put under the work benches. Notice the two air couplers on the end and the one in the middle. You can see how I intended it in the pictures.
This is the coupler hose.
Then I strapped it under the table.
When I get the reel end finished I will post some pics of that side. One of the couplers will have the reel and the other will connect to a portable air tank. The one coupler 3/4 of the way down fits perfect for a short hose to run air guns or anything in the work area and the reel will reach out farther.
