Ok as promised here's some pictures. The Camaro update first then the Kaos bumper that arrived today from custom image corvettes.

Old Camaro

New Camaro

And the Custom Corvette Bumper and hood scoop images

Front bumper

Hood Scoop and spoiler

Rear bumper, it comes in 5 pieces. This is the graft on model.

When I start the bumpers i'll go into detail how to install them. Josh at custom Image will have to give me some pointers. As of now I dont know anyone doing a thread on the install, so i,ll be the guinea pig. It will be a week or so before the Camaro is finished and then i'll work on the vette. Mark

Ok for those of you interested in the Camaro. Engine is back together and painted. Used Eastwood epoxy primer and ceramic urethane engine paint. Paint turned out great, it's run free and very shiny. We installed the engine and are getting closer to starting it. Here's some pictures, enjoy. Mark

I'am still here! Had some set back on the Camero, dropped a valve, destroyed a piston and head. Bought a set of alunmium heads and Other parts. The engine is almost finished, we should be back on the road next weekend. It really sucked, put about 100 miles on it when she laid down. Found out I installed the wrong valve retainers! I told my son I was starting back on the Vette by Febuary so the Camaro better be finished. I have some great pictures of the engine bay, just haven't had time to post. When I do get started back on the Vette it will be small parts being powder coated and rebuilds that I can do in my shop. It will be middle of March before the weather will allow me to blast and paint my frame. I might be able to paint the engine if I can get my shop warm enough. Well that's my update for now I'am still keeping up with everyone on DC just too much going on in my life to post a lot. to everyone Mark

Update

Ok It's been way to long lots going on For those of you that are interested in the Camaro Ill be breif and this is the end of the Camaro build. I have started back on my Vette so keep reading if you are interested in the Vette.

The Camaro has a new set of aluminium heads and is running and finished. I don't have pictures with the new heads but nothing has changed but the heads.

I have bought the ford probe headlight motors and fitted brackets in preparation for rebuilding the headlight assemblies. I have been working on cleaning parts and powder coating them.

I do have a few tips for cleaning the parts. Use a wire brush on a grinder on the parts before sandblasting. This will save some time and keep the blast media cleaner. Here's a picture of the trash that would be in my sandblast cabinet if I had not of wire brushed before blasting.

Here's the parts after wire wheel cleaning.

After sandblasting

After powder coating

I'll be posting more often now I'am back on the Vette build. So stay tuned same channel same place Mark

Nice work! Man, it looks like Christmas at your house with all the toys and nice parts. The powdercoating came out nice! I have an extra oven for the garage, so I'm planning on picking up the same Eastwood powdercoat gun and playing around coating some parts.

Man that camaro turned out great. Love everything about it.
Glad you are back on the vette though. I am shooting for this summer to have mine on the road. We will see. Do you have a revised timeframe yet?
I know you have a bench full of sweet parts to stick on that thing. Keep the pictures coming.
