VOTE NOW: How do you like the C7 Styling?

I'm up to "OK". I expect that might rise once I see one up close, and am very interested to see the higher performance levels when they are released.

Like you it just keeps growing on me. And in person its going to take on a whole new level. Plus the performance boost is probably going to overcome any remaining naysayers.

I definatly hate it.

It could have been a great ferrari or toyota but it doesn't look like a corvette. I hope I'm wrong and these are the pictures that make me think so.

It looks like an european sport car.

It's just my opinion. I expected something more like the C6...

I love it, do i think the rear is the best it can be? no, but i think the rear would look better if it was all body colour but it would in no way stop me from buying it if i could afford it.

On a slightly different not a friend of mine who had a couple c3's was telling me at first of how awful it looked, that it was a flop... now its grown on him, thou he still nit picks certain things it is not the "flop" he thought it would be and it looks KILLER in white

I like the rear end, AS IS. No changes.

I think it's cool, like a spaceship. It appeals to the 8 year old in me. Looks really radical, provocative, daring. At 52, I'm ready for something totally new in life, and don't give a crap about retro styling cues, or design continuity with the past. Let the past fade away, like crumbling leaves. Each previous itteration of Corvette will remain a classic of it's era, and should be valued as such. But we can't drive them forever! Bring on the future-

That, and the whole car, doesn't look like anything else on the road. Chevrolet has struck a new forging, cast a new die, and set Corvette apart, with great technology, great features, great performance, and bold new design. Corvette has never been locked into a mold, like the 911. Corvette has always been free to recreate itself anew. C2 was a radical departure, as was C3, and C4. Then it got kinda quiet for a while, (aesthetically), until C7.

Thank God the C7 isn't a "C6.5". The C6 was great, but criticised as being a "C5.5". This time, the designers/engineers took a decisive step towards originality, and created something truly unique. That's what I expect and want from a new car model, something new and exciting that grabs my imagination. I want to be "wowed", like you felt when you were a kid, and saw the new "whatever" model car come out and hit the showroom floor. It was exciting, like opening a present on Christmas morning. That's the feeling the C7 evokes in me.

Since I'm not a current Corvette owner, it's no stretch for me to accept the newness of the C7 from more tame and mundane styles, those that ruffle no feathers of the faithful. Maybe that's what GM knew, when seeking the widest possible demographic. In time, even the loyalists will recognize the value of the C7.

The resemblance of the tailights to the Camaros' is only slight, and in my perception doesn't arise to anything objectionable.

Really looking forward to this car...

OK I'm calling it official now -- after a week of polling the C7 is sharp enough, pretty enough, and dog gone it people like it!
69% of you liked it compared with ony 15% who did not. And that's before most of us have even seen it in person!!

I voted "OK" before I saw it. Now that I have seen it, I would change my vote to "Love it". WAAAAY better in person. Even the back end. Very nice job. I would own this. I will own this one day.
