It was simular but closer to Brazen and AOM. They were almost identical (at least in some light). DSOm had a really odd redish? hue to it. It was a cool color.

This is a thread I found a long time ago with pics most manufacturers metalic orange colors. Some are really cool.

Great Post. Just curious does the hood dooms look larger and not as edgy on the blue one as compared to the black one or is it just my imagination No Stringray decal! (Z06 prototype, running around) maybe?

Hmm, I can't tell, but it looks like they've both got the optional transparent roof, so I'd doubt they're any Hi-Po models. Probably just last minute daily driving tuning that would've been more difficult to achieve before the reveal.

Most of the test cars car's haven't had stingray badges. I think GM was trying to hold that one close until the reveal. I'm sure these cars predate the reveal.

So that the public can't tell that it's the new Stingray?

the cars were built before the reveal. Not having the logo on them prevented leaks in case camo, came loose. GM was really banking on the stingray name. It's happened before, the Camaro didn't have ss badges on it until after the reveal. Cars that are built before the unveiling are not going to get re-bagged.

I have been told that there are only 2 show cars and about 19 test and validation vehicles that have been built so far. They are expecting more once they start running test builds on the line.
