Of course they will be excluded from some activities. When referring to everyone I've been known to say, " I want every swinging dick in here to give me 50 push-ups." That would exclude all the ladies and some of our more sissy men. Would we still be allowed to curse around the fairer sex. Can you "grab-ass" with a woman. I hope so because it's almost a Marine tradition.

I think she says it all right there. How would her scores look compared to the male standards? Would she still be far above average? If across the board equality is the goal, why even have different fitness standards between men and women?

I have an idea. Why don't we ask our enemies to ensure that only their women will fight our women. That way, different standards for men and women will make sense. Everyone loves Hillary. I'm sure she won't have any trouble negotiating that.
And a secondary benefit would be that all of the men would stop fighting so they could watch the women fight.

Why the concern? We wont be in any wars by the end of 2014. Our Commander in Chief now has the flexibility he needs to negotiate with our enemies so we can all become friends.The Taliban has been defeated (I heard that on the news and boy was I happy). So at least for the next four years men and women soldiers wont see any combat and therefore no cause for concern. Take comfort in knowing our leaders are so smart.

It just occurred to me that if females can be in combat rolls now shouldn't they be required to sign up for the Draft when they're 18 just like men?

My understanding is that they will lower the standards of the PT to fit those of women.

They continuously lower the standards so that women meet the standard. about 5 years or so ago there was an issue across the Army about women meeting body fat standards and weight standards. Instead of making them work out, they just gave them an additional 20lbs (on average) to put them back within regulation.

There is already going to be females at Ranger School this year, and the Dept of the Army has already said the standards will be adjusted for those female OFFICERS as necessary.

Some dumb biotch of a fighter pilot had the audacity to compare being a fighter pilot with that of being an INFANTRYMAN in combat.... That is what we are dealing with- people disconnected from reality.

In basic training, any female that goes to sick call gets a pelvic x-ray because of the numbers of them getting pelvic stress fractures FROM BASIC TRAINING! Imagine what will happen when you throw 75lbs on their back and tell them to go walk 6 miles EVERY WEEK in addition to running their faces off the other 4 days of the work week.
