They also showed the C6 convertible in Geneva back in 2004.

Feedback

Does anyone remember what the feedback at the Geneva show was when they debuted the C6 convertible ? With all the polarization here, I'm just curious.

I bet it's going to have round taillights.

Best looking

You know what's crazy??. Inspite there are aftermarket companies coming out with round tail light kits for C7, unless they actually create a look and design that seems as if it belongs on a 2014 year model car, I'm actually somewhat ok with it as far as the convertible goes. Now the coupe, well as a coupe man I'm sad to say that WHOLE back glass, hatch and side window HAS to go.

This has now been confirmed by GM via a PR this morning:

Quote:
ZURICH – The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray convertible will make its world debut on March 5 at the Geneva Motor Show.

"It's fitting to introduce the new Stingray convertible on the global stage at Geneva because Corvette is the face of Chevrolet the world over," said Susan Docherty, president and managing director of Chevrolet and Cadillac Europe. "It is an icon that has long been recognized and admired even in countries where it's never officially been offered."
