I was watching the military channel today and they were showcasing the A-10 Warthog. That is one phenomenal aircraft. It said it can take dozens of hit by a 23mm cannon and still fly. I am also aware that there are records of A-10's losing and engine an 1/2 a wing and still flew back to base. I always loved when I had them as air support. Tanks never stood a chance.
