They are two completely separate and distinguishable events. If you can't see that, then I can't help you.

Lighten up. It was just a little poke. But yeah, they are different, but very much alike as well.

One kid threw a imaginary grenade and the other kid brought his favorite toy gun to school (with the little orange plug in it). Where the events became very much alike was when the school administrators totally over reacted in both cases.

Extreme taxation, excessive controls, oppressive government competition with business, frustrated minorities and forgotten Americans are not the products of free enterprise. They are the residue of centralized bureaucracy, of government by a self-anointed elite. - Ronald Reagan

What kind of nation are we creating?

How will today's kids react when they grow up, and are thrust into the position of protecting our nation? Wouldn't that be unfair? Confusing?

It was covered in an Alex Jones radio broadcast at night a few weeks back.

This is an extreme example of bad judgement/fear on the part of the school. All the parent has to do is explain to the child that the school is covering their own ass and/or is paranoid. Ask the child to enjoy their time off from school and then try especially hard to placate these people until they graduate. At which time they can resume rational life. The world is full of differing opinions. Some people in charge are wrong. Its a good life lesson for the child. FYI, the only reason I can be so casual in this response is that I'm drunk as I write this, as is often the case while I'm surfing this board.
