new guy from Nebraska also have a restored 1966 ss396 chevelle I built not much good with these newer models.

Very cool !!!
I had a '66 Chevelle SS 396 when I was in high school back in the 1970s. Your Chevelle is most likely a lot nicer than the one I had..... it was pretty ragged out when I got it, but since it was my daily driver, I did not keep it for very long. I wish I had another daily driver at the time so I could have restored it. Post some pics of the SS when you get a chance.
