Cool Stingray now spotted testing in San Diego, California

http://www.corvette7.com/forums/showthread.php?t=280404

Sighting in SD by a Camaro owner. Black looks amazing in these pics. Originally thought only the lighter colors would look nice, but my mind has been changed.

Black looks the best because all the vents match. I'll take one in black no spoiler

I like 75% of that car. I'm sorry I just can't forgive the rearend. The taillights, the vents, the reflectors, don't match. I hope the car is hugely sucessful, but it will be my least fav generation.

The better look I get at the rear, the more I like it. I could do without the spoiler.

Is it just me the but am I the only one that thinks the lower part of the rear bumper would look better painted to match the rest of the car?

96 stock and 86E I don't even know how to explain anymore.

Really? I think it looks much more aggressive and sporty with the spoiler.

Looks kinda naked without.

Very obvious to me that Black is the best color for the C7 - it does the best job of hiding the cluttered, vented 40% black anyway butt. Add some black tinted plexiglass covers for the taillights and it's the best it'll get short of closing your eyes.

BTW, guess the engineers didn't like the look of the red reflector strip either - or maybe they just fell out.

Preproduction model so it's missing lots of trims.

Playing devil's advocate, the lighter colors also look great for the opposite reason - all those black vents and panels look even more aggressive contrasting against a light colored body.
