Whats that click
I just replaced the battery in my 07.Everthing is ok except when in park,if I tap the brake peddle I hear a clicking noise. It sounds like it is coming from under the console next to the shifter. It sounds like a relay and only happens when in park.Anyone have an idea what or why?

Possibly the neutral safety switch (or C6 version of one). It's what prevents you from starting the car without the brake pedal depressed. I'm not sure if it is the same setup in the Vette, but my ex's Caddy STS with push button start required the brake pedal to be depressed and I am assuming it is similar in the C6.

I'm pretty sure it is the lock out switch that lets you move it from Park. My 05' has been doing this since day one. It is wierd that this started with the new battery??

It's probably because the new, fresh battery has a bit more juice to make the relay hit a bit harder.
