Ah memories

That and I remember when I figured out around age 7 or so that I could put a piece of tape on the edge where the tabs were missing on pre-recorded stuff and record over it. I felt like the smartest kid alive.

You haven't loved a cassette tape until you've used Scotch tape to repair a broken cassette tape. That's some serious taping.

Nope I do not recall doing that however, when I worked at Erol's video in college that is how we fixed the snapped VHS tapes. We had a little jig that we put the tape into, spliced it and used scotch tape to hold it together. Worked like a charm.

Same principle with cassette tapes, only a lot less Scotch tape.

So far I mod my computers and not my cars. I love SATA6! I've got a WD Black 1 TB 7,200 RPM 64 MB cache main drive. Next time it is going to be a 10,000+ RPM drive. I hate the Intelipower drives.

I've got (2) of the same but in the 2 TB size in my NAS storage plus I have another 1 TB external drive plugged in. I should be good on storage and speed. My 3D Mark score in kept down by my storage though. I need to move to SSD or hybrid storage and partition my drive a bit smaller.

Settle down boys and put those epeens away before you scare away any remaining women.

I like how you name your drives like some people name their cars!

Here is my setup.

4 TB mostly empty at the moment, but the media servers and the network drive (DNS-321) are mostly full. My DNS-321 is a 4 TB NAS storage drive. Just about 10 TB of storage at home.
