that was NOT a Z06..it was a modded C6.
The C6 Z ran a best of a 12.0@123.9
Terrible driving
terrible track
20+mph headwinds
This car should trap at 125 given the right circumstances

I can't imagine they had done too many mods. I'm assuming she wasn't on runflats.
Does anyone know anything about that car?

Wait, look closely. The scoop is added on to a C6 facia. The rear is C6 (no lip spoiler). I'm thinking that's a modified C6. Well, maybe.
Still need to know something about the car, tho.

Really let's find out, a C6 with upgrades to run that fast is probably cheaper than this what 70+ Z06.

Um, of course. You could put a 150 shot on a slightly modified LS2 and blow a Z06 away in the 1/4. That's kinda missing the point of the Z06, but it can be done, and you'll save quite a few bucks. You could also build up a fbody and save a bundle. Again, misses the point.
If you want to build up a C6, just head over to LPE (or others). They already have a bunch of mods available.

Thats the Breathless Performance MODIFIED C6 not the new ZO6. The Breathless car has their wide body kit on it and the front scoop is also an add on. For the record he is also spraying that car. He ran a with us in the Corvette Challenge @ Moroso last week. I don't know what times he ran but his MPH in qualifying was 125.54 the car moves

Thanks Guys (Fadi, 16). Fadi somehow I missed your post. Yeah, when you look closely at the video, it's obvious.
Terrible driving is right. That BPP car launch was the only decent reaction time in the bunch. 12.0 with a 20mph headwind and crappy launches are definately not bad. Swap out the runflats, get a good launch and you're in the low 11's.

One thing about all th eruns that the C6 Z made is that they were all made by a total of 4 different drivers; 2 male and 2 female. Taj(however you spell his name, he's the guy who did the Z06 rollout with Dave Hill) was the one there with the car. He let a friend of his drive it, his friends wife and his wife drive it. His wife ran a respectable 12.61 or so.

That would be Corvette Assistant Chief Engineer Tadge Juechter, who participated in the rollout presentation. Thanks for the info. I was on the other side of the track and didn't see who was driving.
