[Document] Corvette Super Sport "SS" w/ LS9

In case the information has been tainted with trackable "disinformation" I will summarize but must be vague. I do not rule this out as being an intentional leak.

- The "Corvette SS" undeniably a go.
- We are at the very beginning of the program.
- Will be limited #s
- Not indicated to be "blue devil".
- Will be outfitted with a "charged" LS9.
- This will be a Corvette-only motor not to be in a caddy.
- The LS9 is a smaller displacement motor than the LS7. <----
- The "Corvette SS" will be top dog, Z06 will not be.
- Well over 600 HP.
- No test/beta/pilot Corvette SS exists in any shape or form. So don't waste your time looking for one yet.
- Unlike info on some other sites, this Corvette WILL NOT be seen for a very very long time.

I think there are others that know this info, but there are a lot of shaking knees when it comes to even discussing it.

To our GM viewing audience, just want to say thanks for keeping the Corvette line exciting and for continuing to take the car to new levels. Great job. Keep up the good work, we love it.

I have a few questions?

Do you know of any performance goals ie. weight, output?

Do you know if it will be Corvette based or not?

2006 Machine Silver Z06

I wonder what this will do to the value of the Z06?

Figuring that car will cost at least $20 to $30k more, the Z06 may hold its value pretty well.

Ah heck, I'll be more than happy with 505HP, I just hope the value stays up.

GM, why do you keep doing this and where will it stop?

Awesome info! Thanks Pat!

One question, just to see if it's a typo. Did you mean to type that it will have a smaller displacement than the LS6 or LS7?

Thanks again for the info!

No weight info.

No body/styling info.

It's best to not be specific about power output at this time.

Shit. Typo. I meant LS7.

The LS9 is smaller (less cubic inches) than the LS7.
(I corrected the post).

My only thing is I hope that it is still a Corvette and not some designed by a 13 year old car that only bears the Corvette's name.

Looking forward to owning one!

Amazing, the only question remaining is: Will it pull the speed limit signs out of the ground when it goes by them?
