Transmission Fluid change

Hey guys,

Anyone change their transmission fluid yet? Any tips on were to get the kit (filter, ...) for the job?

No help here fluffy ************ take it to a chevy dealer if you have them there have them do it or buy the parts needed from them ** do you have part stores like o'reilly or napa or auto zone??
of have to buy stuff from the USA ?
how are you man ***how is the family ?? hope the weather is getting better * I know you drive your corvette in snow with dry wall boards on the roof **

Hey Jim,

Well over here, GM has gone belly up and there are therefore no Chevy dealers around here. Most people with vettes around here, actually flew to the US to buy one.

I have a cousin who is retired and living in Florida now (the one who was working on the F-35), so I have the parts sent to him (buy them online) and he sends to me or I get them when someone in the family goes there.

As for having someone else do the work, there is saying in French, one is best served by himself then by someone else. In particular in a world were don't give a fuck about the end result.


House is finished so the vette is back to being my DD to work until it dies out. At that point in time, if the kids are gone and married, I wouldn't mind getting an i8, looks wicked even though I don't bimmers too much.
