1980 Door Panel installation

I am having trouble getting my door panels to stay attached to the doors. There are no door clips to attach them with for this year. There is only one screw next to the door pillar, one screw that holds the door release covers, and 3 screws that hold the arm rest on. Thats it. Is there a glue to use around the lower edges? I have had no luck with Velcro. Any help would be appreciated.

No plastic push in fasteners around the perimeter of the door panel? Are there holes for them?

Should be 3 tabs along the bottom, the earlier C3s were Velcro, not sure about yours.

BTW if the door has fit problems like sagged hinges, it may be yanking on the door panel every time it's opened.

good luck with the problem!

There are two long phillips screws w/dress washers, that hold the lower part of the panel.

One is at the front just under the upper vinyl/lower carpet seam, possibly hidden by the map pocket.

The other is towards the rear, behind and below the rear end of the arm rest.

Thanks for the pictures. I can now see how they are attached. I have tried glue and Velcro. Nothing seemed to work for very long. Thanks again.
